Aspire to Inspire before you Expire - The 45th ‘Knit India Movement’
The 45th ‘Knit India Movement’ was organized with the aim to inculcate leadership qualities in the students. 110 students with their Principals and teachers from thirty five schools from different parts of India started their journey for 45th KNIT INDIA 2012 on December 28, 2012. Knit India, a live together of students, teachers and head of the institutions from different parts of the country is organized at National Level every year on 28th December. This provides a platform to the students to be the change they want to see in the nation. It does not allow them to move with the crowd but helps them develop their own identity.
From our school three students, Ayushi Ghai, Nehal Sharma and Radhey Tambi were selected to attend 45th Knit India which was held at Indore. They were accompanied by the Principal, Sr. Helen. Knit India boosted up their confidence and motivated them to leave a legacy behind. Our students along with other students presented their personal transformation which they experienced after attending the leadership training at USM. Their experience at USM is published in the book ‘Ripples’. In the cultural program they performed dance, drama and motivational song. They actively participated in group discussions based on becoming the agents of change to make a better tomorrow. On the New Year they resolved to become responsible citizens of the nation. Knit India recharged their USM spirit and transformed them into moral commandos.
